"Superpace has been a game changer in our outpatient clinic. We have children that need adventure but limited stimuli for their environment. The ability to make something so big and later "click click click" it down to a small stackable set and put away with ease is my favorite thing about Superspace. We can turn our therapeutic space from a boat, or a train, or a tunnel, or a rocket in 10 minutes and then back to a blank canvas. We use it for problem solving, executive function, visual-spatial skills, 2-3 step planning, imaginative play, basic concepts, training attention, language immersion.... the therapeutic ways we use these tiles are endless. I also appreciate that I can use them with my 2 year old’s and 12 year olds. There are not many therapy materials that have that versatility. It is highly recommended by our physical therapist, occupational therapists, and speech and language therapists."
I formed Launch HTX in 2023 when an opportunity rose to open a therapy clinic in my hometown and favorite place in the world, Jersey Village! I am no stranger to owning businesses. The Mitchams have started 4 businesses, including the brewery downstairs. (Cheers!!) This is my second adventure for starting up a therapy clinic. A few things about me: My friends and family call me "Meesh". I have been practicing since 2005, which feels like a few years ago. My passion is feeding and early language development, but I love all aspects of speech therapy! I sit on City Council in Jersey Village in Place 3 and Mayor Pro Tem. And philanthropy is my soul.
